I have been wanting to do a session that focuses on natural beauty, meaning in both the subject I photograph as well as her natural surroundings.
I found my perfect subject in Miss Shanin. She is such a great person; beautiful on the outside as well as on in the inside.
She is wearing nothing but mascara in these photos and her beauty just really shines through.
We are kindred spirits, here and I, so our shoots together have been really fun. This one was definitely my favorite. This is basically Shanin on a day to day basis- free, beautiful, happy, and unique. I adore her.
I wanted a neutral pallet for wardrobe to flow with the colors of winter. She brought her entire wardrobe and I threw the outfits together. Perfect! And let me not forget her lovely grandmother for letting us borrow her fabulous coyote fur boots. I am not a fan of fur, but these boots really were a showstopper! Thanks Grandma! ;)
